One way we ensure that we can provide long-term, flexible care is by remaining out-of-network for all insurance providers. Insurance-driven care requires therapy to be dictated by insurance-driven decisions, and that almost always translates into shorter sessions, rushed, impersonal solutions, and an approach that feels more like a quick fix than true, lasting healing. We’ve chosen to opt out of the productivity race in favor of offering clients more focused care that gives them a bigger, more impactful return on their investment.

Part of our mission to treat clients differently comes through in the way we structure our space and time. Our office is designed with comfort in mind, in an effort to break away from the clinical, distant feel that’s so common with other counseling environments. And when it comes to our time, we prioritize client needs over productivity. That means a focus on flexibility over rigid time constraints, and proactive care over reactive treatment so that clients are on the path to renewal before they’re in crisis.

Overall wellness is much like a puzzle, made up of all sorts of pieces having to do with physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. To do this, we employ an integrative approach that leverages a wide range of theories, techniques, modalities and interventions. In addition, we seek to partner with clients’ other healthcare providers to ensure the highest level of complete, individualized care.

But being teachable doesn’t end with continuing our education; it also means that we’re committed to staying on top of our own wellness journeys. As humans, we require care just like our clients, and would never ask clients to practice something we were unwilling to do ourselves.
